Pre-Announcing “The Stress Point” Contest

Hey Everyone!
It’s Paola- a summer intern here at Graf-Martin Communications. Being a 20-something female, I’ve noticed a huge gap in the Christian marketplace surrounding Bible studies and resources available for young adults. There are so many great resources out there for teens, and ladies, but there isn’t much out there for girls my age. In response to this gap, Sarah Francis Martin has come out with Stress Point. Want to ditch the drama and thrive through your twenties? I know I do. In her book, Sarah covers ten sources of stress, or stress points for the 20-something woman and encourages them to place Christ in the centre of them. Through this interactive Bible study Sarah teaches readers to wait on the Lord, worship Him and make Him the focus of their lives. In doing so, Sarah acts as the slightly older girlfriend, who’s been there, done that and got the not-so-cute t-shirt.
When my girlfriends and I get together and chat, our conversations usually surround the various stress points in our lives- the guy that’s stringing you along, your current job search dilemmas, or your desire to move out of your parents’ house and get your own apartment. I contacted ten of my best girls and asked them to send me little synopses and corresponding questions for one of their biggest stress points. Let me tell you, I have some seriously awesome girls in my life. Each of them responded with a real, honest dilemma they’re experiencing. Up to twice a week, I’ll be posting a little blurb about each girlfriend, the details of their dilemma and Sarah’s advice. The 10-post blog series will be called Girl Talk with Sarah. Even though your specific stress points may be different than the ones mentioned here, it’s my hope that you’ll be able to learn something and work on the things in your life that are stressing you out.
To celebrate this new book, we’re also running a contest in tandem with these blog posts. Each time you comment here on our Graf-Martin Communications blog, you will be entered into a contest for a chance to win a copy of Stress Point. Winners will be drawn every two blog posts.
