● Christian Book Award Winner - The Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA) has announced that Close Enough to Hear God Breathe has been selected as the 2012 Christian Book Award “Non-Fiction” category winner. The full press release is here
-About the awards: The Christian Book Awards, established in 1978 as the Gold Medallion Book Awards by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, recognize the absolute highest quality in Christian books. Based on excellence in content, literary quality, design and impact, the Christian Book Awards are the oldest and among the most prestigious in the religious publishing industry.
-Promotion of winners: ECPA is partnering with Christianity Today Inc. (CTi) to promote the winning titles to its consumer base. ECPA has also confirmed support from national retailers to create in-store and consumer promotions to build awareness of the Christian Book Award winning titles
● Canadian Christian Writing Awards Finalist – Close Enough to Hear God Breathe has been selected as a finalist for the Canadian Christian Writing Awards “Christian Living” category.
-Canada’s top writing awards where entries are judged according to excellence of writing; impact (the inspirational or informational value); suitability to target audience; originality and freshness of style. There are 35 award categories including non-fiction books, novels, articles, columns, blogs, poems, and scripts and screen plays.
-Winners to be announced June 13th
