A New Day for Canadian Christian Retail
Foundation Distributing Inc. to provide eBook services to Canadian Christian retailers
Orono, ON (April 11th, 2012)– With eBook sales numbers in swift ascent and the recent announcement of eBook sales for one faith-based title hitting one million, consumers are clamouring for Christian eBook products. With a desire to help retailers stay ahead of the curve, Foundation Distributing Inc. has formed a strategic partnership with eChristian, Inc. to supply Canadian booksellers with a full range of Christian eBook retailing services.
The deal, initiated by Foundation Distributing Inc. as an eBook solution for Canadian retailers, follows a similar arrangement with over 300 independent Christian retailers in the US, launched by Innovative in December 2011. Foundation Distributing Inc. has created FDIDigital, built on eChristian’s best in class digital delivery system to supply Canadian booksellers with eBook retailing capability. FDIDigital will supply their customers with an ever-expanding range of quality eBooks and downloadable Christian audiobooks through branded websites.
Initial participating Canadian booksellers launching eBook enabled websites powered by FDIDigital April 2012 include Blessings Christian Marketplace, House of James, Scott’s Parable, Faith Family Books, and Books for Christ. Adding FDIDigital to their individual websites will allow consumers to access product in the format that best suits their needs, whether digital or print.
